Privacy policy

Hisabify is a mobile app by SenseBird ("we") for recording the costs of building a house or other construction project. This policy explains what the app collects, why, who processes it, and how you can delete it. Questions: shahzadadnan3@gmail.com.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash by Google Firebase Authentication) and, if you add it, your phone number.
What you enter in the app: Spaces, projects, expenses, amounts, payments, payment requests, cash records, vendors, contracts, recurring costs, categories, stages, notes and comments.
Photos and files you add: receipts, bills, site photos, project cover photos and exported reports.
Voice recordings: when you use voice entry or ask a question by voice, the recording is sent to our server to be turned into text. We do not keep the recording on our servers after it has been processed. An unsent recording may stay on your phone until it is used or deleted.
Contacts you choose: when you pick a contact for a vendor, the app copies only that contact's name and phone number. It cannot read your other contacts.
Device information: a notification token so we can send you alerts, crash reports (device model, Android version, app version and what went wrong), and an app-integrity check that confirms requests come from the genuine app.

We do not collect your location, and we do not show ads or use an advertising ID.

Why we use it

To run the app: saving your records, sharing them with the people you invite, reading receipts and voice notes, answering your spending questions, sending notifications, fixing crashes and protecting the service from abuse. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

Google Firebase (Google LLC): sign-in, database, file storage, server functions, notifications, crash reports and app integrity. Servers are in the United States.
AI processing: receipt photos, voice recordings and spending questions are sent through OpenRouter to an AI model provider to read and answer them. They receive only what is needed for that request.
People you share with: members you invite to a Space or project can see the records their role allows, including who added them.

How long we keep it

Your records are kept while your account exists. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. After you delete your account, Google may keep backup copies for a limited period under its own retention rules.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account in the app: open the account menu, choose Settings, then Delete account. If you own a Space (a shared workspace), transfer it to another member first. Deleting removes your profile, sign-in and memberships. Records you added to a shared Space stay with that Space so its accounts stay correct, and your name on them is replaced with "Deleted account". Text and photos you shared may still contain personal details you typed or photographed.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access rules on our servers allow each person to see only the Spaces and projects they belong to. The app can be locked with your fingerprint or face.

Children

Hisabify is for adults. It is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your choices

You can view and correct your records in the app at any time, turn off notifications in Android settings, and ask us for a copy or deletion of your data at shahzadadnan3@gmail.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
